Ministry of Treasury

The Ministry of Treasury faithfully manages all financial activities of the church. It oversees tithes, offerings, and other incomes, ensuring every transaction is handled with transparency and integrity. Appointed brethren, filled with the Holy Spirit, wisdom, and love of God, carry out financial duties with proficiency in bookkeeping and stewardship.
The treasurer supervises the processes of collecting, counting, depositing, and balancing all funds. Every week, ushers collect the tithes and offerings under the treasurer’s guidance, ensuring accountability and accuracy. The ministry is responsible for managing regular expenses, payrolls, and church property. Non-regular expenses require prior approval from the Board of Elders.
In alignment with Acts 6:2 — “It is not desirable that elders should leave the word of God and serve tables” — the Board of Elders established the Ministry of Treasury to focus on this vital area. Quarterly financial reports are submitted to the Board of Elders, and annual summaries are shared with the congregation. The treasurer serves a three-year term and may be re-elected without limitation.
